How to Make Gajar Halwa By Samina Jalil

Even though all halwas are popular during winter, but Gajar Halwa By Samina Jalil is more delicious and beneficial, especially for your eyesight.

Ingredients:

  1. Carrots – 2kg (shredded)
  2. Milk – 1 cup
  3. Green cardamoms – 6
  4. Ghee – 1 cup
  5. Sugar – 1 1/2 cup
  6. Dry milk powder – 1 cup
  7. Khoya – 300g
  8. Pistachio and almonds – 1 cup

Method:

  • Take a pan; add shredded carrots, milk and cardamoms.
  • Let it cook until carrots are tender and milk is dry.
  • Now add ghee and sugar, and fry well; then add dry milk powder and fry for 1 – 2 minutes.
  • Then add half quantity of khoya and mix.
  • Dish out and garnish with chopped pistachio, almonds, remaining khoya and silver paper, and serve
