How to Make Palak Paner by Chef Shireen Anwar

Palak Paneer

Ingredients:

  1. Spinach (Boiled) –  1/2 kg
  2. Cottage Cheese (Fried Square Cut) –  200gm
  3. Dill (Thinly Sliced) –  2 tbsp
  4. Onion (Thinly Sliced) –  1
  5. Salt –  1/2 tsp
  6. White Pepper Powder –  1/2 tsp
  7. Red Chili Powder – 1/2 tsp
  8. Butter –  2 tbsp
  9. Milk –  1 & 1/2 cup
  10. Cream –  1/2 cup

Method:

  • First of all fry cottage cheese slices in a butter till light golden brown and keep cottage cheese aside after frying.
  • Then take a pan, add onion and fry till golden brown, then add dill, boiled spinach and 1 cup milk, cook on high flame for 4-5 minutes.
  • Then add cooked spinach mixture in a blender and blend well.
  • Now add cream, salt, remaining 1/2 cup milk, white pepper and red chili powder in the blended mixture of spinach.
  • Then pour in a pan and cook till it turns in to thick gravy, dish out when its done.
  • Place cottage cheese slices over the spinach and serve.
