Tea and Fruit Cake

How to Make Tea and Fruit Cake,

Ingredients:

  1. Flour – 2 cups
  2. Salt – 1 pinch
  3. Egg – 4
  4. Milk – 4 tbsp
  5. Vanila essence – 1 1/2 tsp
  6. Unsalted butter – 200 gram
  7. Granulated sugar – 1 cup
  8. Baking powder – 1 1/2 tsp

Method:

  • Strain flour, baking powder and salt. Put aside.
  • Take a bowl, add butter and sugar and beat with electric beater, until smooth cream.
  • Then add eggs 1 by 1 along with 1 tbsp of flour mixture.
  • Now add vanilla essence, beat until sugar and eggs are beaten well.
  • Now add remaining flour mixture in egg mixture and beat on low speed.
  • Add yellow colour and milk, mix well.
  • Now put this mixture in 2 loaf cake pans and bake in preheated oven on 350ºF, 180ºC and gas mark 4 for 35 to 40 minutes.
  • If you would like to make Dry Fruit Cake, then follow the same recipe, just add dry fruits in mixture at the end before pouring in pans.
