Tandoori Chicken Tikka by Sara Riaz

Ingredients;

  1. Chicken liver Kaleji – 1/2 kg
  2. Black pepper – 1/2 tsp
  3. Onion – 1
  4. Garlic paste – 2 tbsp

Whole spice as required;

  1. Cumin powder – 1/2 tsp
  2. Chili powder – 1 tsp
  3. Chili flacks – 1 tsp
  4. Coriander powder – 1 tsp
  5. Turmeric powder – 1/2 tsp
  6. Chat masala – 1/2 tsp
  7. Ginger Julianne – 1 inch
  8. Tomato – 1
  9. Yogurt- 1/2 cup
  10. Salt To taste
  11. Oil – 5 tbsp
  12. Fresh coriander for garnishing

Cooking Method;

  • Heat oil in a pot over medium heat.
  • Then put whole spices and onion slices in it.
  • Cook for 2-3 minutes or until onion are golden brown.
  • Now add liver kaleji with garlic paste and cook well for 5-7 minutes or until change its color.
  • Then put red chili powder and flacks, salt,turmeric powder, coriander powder, chat masala.
  • Add tomato slices and cover it for 5 minutes or until oil comes up on top
  • Now add yogurt and stir again.
  • Sprinkle cumin and black pepper powder and cover the pot for 2 minutes.
  • Garnish with fresh coriander.
  • Dish it out.
  • Liver masala is ready to serve.
  • Serving Suggestions.
  • Serve hot with naan and salad.
