INGREDIENTS;

  1. Mutton – ½ kg
  2. Potatoes- ½ kg cut in cubes
  3. Bay leaves- 2
  4. Black Cardamoms – 2
  5. Green chilies – 4
  6. Green Cardamoms – 4
  7. Onion – 250 gm chopped
  8. Ghee – 250 gm
  9. Yogurt – 475 gm
  10. Whole black pepper – 1 tsp
  11. Nutmeg & mace – 1 tsp
  12. Black cumin – 1 tsp
  13. Salt – 1 tsp
  14. Chili powder – 1 tbsp
  15. Ginger Garlic paste – 1 tbsp
  16. Kewra – 1 tbsp
  17. Ginger chopped – 1 tbsp
  18. Coriander powder – 2 tsp
  19. All spIce powder – 2 tbsp

METHOD;

  • Heat up ghee in pan add potatoes and fry well and remove.
  • In the remaining ghee add chopped onion and fry till golden brown, remove brown onion and keep aside.
  • Marinate mutton with yogurt, coriander powder, chili powder, salt, ginger garlic paste and cumin seeds keep aside for 30 minutes,
  • Put marinated mutton in the remaining ghee cook for 30 minutes till mutton is done.
  • Now add fried potatoes and crushed brown onion fry well add 2 glasses of water and cook for 30 minutes.
  • Now crush bay leaves, green cardamoms and nutmeg mace powder together add crushed spice to the qorma  mixture and cook for another 30 minutes.
  • Now turn the flame off add kewra, chopped ginger and green chili, serve with naan,
